Ok, I jumped into setting up my new machine last night...and I was going through BIOS setup because it wasn't recognizing my Hard Drive, and I noticed that it thinks my processor is 900 Mhz when it's 1200...So I thought, hmm I should just set the multiplier to 12...but I think I mistakingly set the frequency to 133...So then I restarted and now nothing what so ever comes up on my screen. I can't tell if it's the monitor (because it is known to be flakey) or if it is me...Is there any way to "reset" the BIOS hardware wise? Or should I just find another monitor to set this up. Could I have done serious damage?

for a 1.2 tbird, you want 9x133 = 1197. so you WERE supposed to boost it up to 133. then again, do you have pc133 ram installed?

if you want to clear the cmos, you can either look in the manual for directions on how to clear it using jumpers, or you can take the mobo battery out for 20-30 minutes. that should reset everything and then it should post again

and the battery is the round ion thing right? I'll try that, thanks a ton. Yeah, I have PC133 Memory...so 9x133. Great. I'll post to let you know what happens.

yep, it's the round lithium battery. half an hour out of the mobo, and then back in, and you should boot fine

on the HDD issue, make sure the master/slave jumper on the hdd is set correctly, especially if you have 2 devices on that particular ide port.

Well I read the manual...I think my CD is just not bootable or something...Thank you so much for the battery trick. You're the man.
