Hi
I'm trying to add my roomates's laptop to our home network so we can share files. I have 3 other computers working together fine on the network. All computers are running winXP, all can get on the internet, all have identical network connections settings. I'm using a linsys WRT54G wirless router.
I can ping all of the computers except for his, and i can access the shared folders on all computers but his (his don't even show up in network places). The only thing i see is his comptuer name in the "mshome" workgroup, but when i click on it, i get the "network path no tfound" message.
finally i'v tried running a freeware app on his computer call WinSOCXP that apparantly fixes registry problems with netowrking troubles, but no luck.
Any advice would be most appreciated. thank you.
