Help with a Windows install on a Dell

Dimension 8400, we're trying to install Windows XP, and it's saying that it can't see the hard drives.

It's SATA, so I'm guessing it's some kind of problem with needing drivers for it, but how can it need drivers for that? It's an Intel mobo, but I'm having problems getting it to read the floppy drive, so I can't install "3rd Party Drivers." Does anyone know why it's doing this? Does it really need me to install 3P drivers in order to read from a SATA drive?

Do the Sata drives show up in the BIOS pages under drives ?

Sata is on the native Intel chipset, so there shouldnt be any drivers needed unless your doing RAID
