I have an IBM ADF Color scanner (I know, it sucks but my dad bought it and I got it for free).
I downloaded and installed the drivers for it, located here:

Whenever I run the program and install it, it works fine but if I tell it to modify the config.sys, it crashes. If I tell it not to,
it says "add the line device=C:\directory\adfcolor.sys to your config.sys". When I add that line and reboot, Windows makes a new config.sys and sets the one that I made to config.bak. Then the scanner software won't run because the driver didn't load.
What should I do in order to load the driver?
