I have a Gigabyte GA7-ZX mainboard. I just swapped out the generic heatsink and fan for a FOP-38. It needs to be plugged into a 4 pin connector because it says connecting it to the MB header can damage the board. No prob doing that. The question I have is that when my computer posts, the system health says there is a problem. I know its because the bios cannot detect the fan for the processor. It does not relly interfere with the operation of my PC at all but I want to know if there is a way to get rid of the system health nag.
Should I just plug a fan into and use it for other purposes?
