I have the 2nd generation Intel ssd. i am attempting to do a firmwire update and when I place the cd in the computer and restart my computer it comes up with no Intel ssd detected. Now the only thing I could find that may have something to do with this is how it says dont update on an nvidia system.
Now I have an evga 760 Motherboard made for sli but will work for crossover. Also I have 3 xfx 280 video cards. I believe they are all based around nvidia technologys
Basically what makes a computer an nvidia system. Is it the graphic chips being nvidia is it an nvidia motherboard.
I know that its not up to date because it wont let me run the ssd toolbox the trim option. It says I have to update to the newest firmware.
Now the ssd toolbox does recognize the intel ssd in windows. So while I am in windows intels software does see the ssd but while attempting to do the firmware update during a restart it doesnt.
If anyone has any idea's I would love to hear them. Thanks for all the help guys and/or gals.
