Heres my problem......I have a Abit KA7 MB, using the TY bios.....I started up my box the other day and right before my computer would try booting from a floppy, it hangs saying "Building DMI Pool" I have tried resetting the bios a few times without luck....I tried differnet memory, cpu, and nothing..... Any Ideas?
Another problem, because of the above problem, I went and got a new MB from the stupid store (CompUSA) and was forced to get a Soyo K7VIA, now that I have it, I like it a lot.....Heres what I want to know, why will me computer run Final Reality with the L2 cache running at 425MHz but on my Abit MB my computer would lockup at anything over 360Mhz?
I wasnt able to run 3DMark with the cache at 425MHz but Im going to try it at 400Mhz...
Thoughts?
