I can't get my new system to post, and i dont get any beep codes!! What is wrong? All I have installed is a known working video card, 1ghz athlon-c thunderbird, and 256mb of ddr ram on a epox 8k7a motherboard. I'm suspicious that it is a power problem, how can i tell? (300W ps)

Have you used the two digit LED troubleshooter to see if it is telling you anything important? It is right on the board and you can't miss it. The codes are deciphered in the manual.

Do you have a netgear NIC in there? If so, that is probably causing the problem. When I had a Netgear FA311 in mine it would not soft reboot. I would have to turn it off completely to get a reboot to occur. What would happen with the LEDs is that when it tried to reboot they would quickly go to FF which is supposed to mean that the OS had taken over. Since it had just restarted that obviously was not the case. This problem disappeared with the removal of that card.
