Hey all,

Got my board up and running. I have a couple o'clocking questions.
1. I o'clocked to fsb 133 and when I did, I got a blue screen on bootup. I gradually increased the vcore until I was able to boot into windows. But after a random amount of time (anywhere from 5-15 minutes) the computer would just blue screen on my and then reboot. The error messages were random. Anything from some "list being bad" to memory errors. What is a possible solution?

2. I am just wanting to get this thing to fsb 133 and stable, no farther. I had to go to a vcore of 1.65 to make her boot into windows. Do I need to take it higher? Or is my trouble related to the memory?

Thanks for your help.

:) Hi Pastorjay ,your pci bus may be to high, first if you are using easytune take it out of your system , Go into bios and set cpu host frequency to 133, set cpu host clock control to enabled, then set pci/agp to PLL16 { this will lock your pci/agp to stock settings which are 33/66 }, then set your host dram clock control to 2.0 { this will make sure your ddr doesnt go over 266mhz} then go to Dimm overvoltage control and set to +.2 volts, set agp overvoltage control to +.2 volts , set cpu overvoltage control to 1.55 , Assuming you have a p4 northwood, if it wont boot up leave everything else as i have said and up cpu overvoltage control to 1.575 or 1.6 . this should do the job .;)

Hey thanks! Looking good so far. I was not using the easytune, so that was not a problem. I also had the mem set at pl/16. I had my memory set to 355. I have ocz 2700 ddr, so I thought it could take it. Evidently not. So, I set it to run at 266, and all seems fine now. I did not up the dimm or agp yet. DO you think it will be necessary? And what about that memory, should it be able to go higher? Did you hear there is suppose to be an f7 bios out soon? Can't wait for that!

:) Your memory might go that high but will definately need more voltage at least +.2. I emailed Gigabyte today about the f7 bios should get a response tomorrow hopefully.I hate to say it but through these forums I have heard some unfavorable things about OCZ memory. I have original Samsung pc2100 and have it up to 345 mhz without any problems and its only rated for 266mhz.:D
