first off, please forgive any dodgy terminology...
ok, to explain the situation...
currently i run my PC and 360 through 1 PC monitor (pc is via DVI, 360 is through HD VGA cable).
now for audio on my 360 i can use the speaker built in to my monitor, but its rubbish.
what i have been doing is unplugging the speakers from the back of my pc, and plugging them into my monitors headphone jack, using its audio capabilities to give my 360 sound through my pc speakers.
im getting annoyed at constantly switching between the 2 and having to forrage around the back of my desk to do so....from what ive seen i know of 2 methods to stop this:
method one,
http://shaymus22.wordpress.com...-speakers-in-10-steps/
problem with method one is my soundcard (Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro) has audio inputs, and no microphone slot...and no matter how much messing around i cant get my pc to play my 360 audio. i also have a case issue whereas the rather "beefy" audio y-cable (left/right > stereo) cant sit properly in my machine.
----------------------------
method 2,
somewhere in this world there has to be a 1 x female to 2 x male pc speaker Y-cable splitter...but i cannot find it - at all.
closest thing ive found is a splitter that takes it from single to left/right...which is no good!
does anyone have any ideas on where i might find such a cable, or any other solutions (except buying a second set of speakers)
google turned out to be rather useless at this.....

any ideas would be a life saver
cheers
