I plugged everything in, HDD, FDD, Ram, AGP vid card, CPU, CPUfan, Power Supply, then fired it up, the following is what happened:

1. HDD led comes on and HDD whirs for about 2 seconds.
2. All Fans come on.
3. HDD led goes off and HDD stops whirring.
4. No video.
5. System does not boot up.

I have tried different settings to eleviate the problem or to troubleshoot to find out what the problem is. I have tried different video cards, both AGP and PCI video cards, I have set the jumpers to make the board 100 mhz FSB and back to 133 mhz FSB in different combinations and still get nothing. I have cleared the CMOS with the jumpers AND by removing the Bois protect jumper completely taking out the battery and clearing CMOS with the jumper and replacing the battery and the jumpers where they need to be, and still I got nothing. I dissconnected all drives HDD, FDD and CD and tried all combinations without those drives hooked in and still no video/no boot up.

Am I missing something here or do I have a bad board? Or could it be just the CPU that is bad? The memory is also brand new, but I also tried switching out that memory with other memory that I know is good that came out of my other system and still nothing seems to work,

I need some help here and am at a loss as to what to do.

Sounds sim to my experience. I had to put in a slower processor to get it to boot. Slow Duron works good. Once up, I set the bios up correctly. May be able to accomplish the same by using the jumps on the mobo. Serch the forum for further help. This was up before.

Herrmans advice is sound, try another CPU. Also, that board hates cheap power supplies, so insure that's not the culprit
