Hi All,

Wow, been a while since I needed to post something here. I'm having the most annoying problem with my new laptop. I have WinXP Pro installed on a Dell 600M(Centrino) and I'm trying to create a VPN with the built in NIC(not wireless). However, whenever I create it, it comes up as a dial-up connection. And in the description, it says, "Device not Available." Anyone know how to fix this? I do have both the built in 10/100/100 NIC and the built in 54G wireless NIC.

As Always,
D

I'm attempting a normal "Create a New Connection". Then I follow the steps through the VPN setup. One thing is wierd, with other PCs I've done, I believe there was a step between the company name and the ip address fields. Something about connecting etc... Anyway, I do the whole thing, Windows ays I'm golden and when I look in the window, the connection is listed under dial-up connections and not VPNs. Really pissing me off.

As Always,
Matt
