HELP Windows xp will not recognize my SB Audigy

leedog2007

I just got the components in my sig today and everything has gone beautifully except i cannot get windows to recognize either my soundblaster audigy or the onboard sound.

Any help is appreciated

I think you just have a setting wrong. Whether it be volume or mute or something simple. Can you find the option to restore defaults? in my audigy 2 ZS its in the taskbar control center. try that

under the diagnostic tool on the audigy it passes the detect and sound font tests, but fails the wave driver, midi driver, mixer driver, direct sound driver, direct sound 3D driver, and mixer settings check.

Try unistalling the audigy drivers, running driver cleaner pro le to clean out the reg files and switching the card to a different PCI slot. There's no reason it shouldn't be working.
