My sister is trying to install Windows Xp on her system. She has a brand new 40gig IBM drive w/fresh format. She installed everything up until the first restart (options - partition 40gig, FAT32) ok and says upon restart that it give her an error (she hasn't informed of the error, i will update when she calls me again). I believe the problem might be related to her video card (Diamond Stealth s220 - Rendition Verite 2100). Is it possible that Windows XP will not continue loading past the initial screens due to an unsupported video card (i looked online and did not find any documentation stating it was compatible with XP)? When i get more info i'll update this post, but mainly i want to know if the vid card is the prob. lmk, and thx in advance AT
