HELP! Windows XP+AGP+SBA+BSOD!

Okay, so here's my sitatuion: recently, I realized that my SBA and AGP settings weren't running at their potential. SBA was off (I know a lot of people leave it off, but I like it on) and AGP is stuck at 2x. Everything in the BIOS is correct, but whenever I try to change any of these, I get a BSOD. I tried different ram so that's not the problem. Everything else supports it, but it says the OS can't (on the newer forceware drivers under AGP options). Can anyone help me? I'm desperate and need answers ASAP.
