After fresh install of XP I cannot access my home network although other computers can freely access me and write to my hdd.
This sounds like a firewall configuration problem. When I watch the logs, there are multiple attempts to connect to anther computer which are all permitted. If I watch the logs on the other computer, all are permitted.
Also, after downloading large files the LAN properties says I've only received 3K packets. The 'internet connection' thing in network properties says things are not available and disappears on its own in less than a second with no error messages.
Any clue?
