I just tried to upgrade from Windows 98 SE to Windows 2000. Now when I start my PC I get a blue screen just after the starting windows 2000 screen, and it says:

STOP: c000021 {Bad Image Checksum}
The image version.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum.

All I want to do now is reformat my machine and start from scratch but I can't. It won't let me go into safe mode or anything else and I can't boot with a Win98 boot disk. I just want to fdisk the damn thing and redo it all. How can I get this thing to a command line so that I can do it. Please Help!!!!

Thx,

Just boot off the Win2K CD, You can delete and create partitions (like fdisk) during setup.
