Hi. I posted this in TechSupport, but I figured it could fit here, too. Please help! :)

Hey people. If anybody can help me with this, I will be INFINTELY grateful.

So from one reboot to the next, when I go to log into my Win2K (SP2) system, as soon as I put in the correct password, I get the "Loading personal settings..." message. As soon as that goes away, I get the "Saving personal settings..." message and then get booted back to the log on screen (ie, behaving as if I just logged off). So I assume something is automatically logging me out of the system! :( What could it be!? And more importantly, how can I fix it!?

ANY and ALL help is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks a million!

I had this problem too...and I found no way to fix it (not due to lack of trying, let me tell you) It always happened right after I did somthing with a dynamic disk, so I'm guessing its the service that handels DD's that is causing the problem. It only happened when I took out a disk that was listed as dynamic, or deleted the dynamic partition with a 3rd party program. I had to reinstall windows both times that happened (within a week of each other :Q )

I also asked this exact question here, and recieved no responses.

You will find, that the only way you can log into your system is from the recovery console, but I found that nothing I tried to do from there worked. Safe mode exibits the same features as normal windows..."last known good configuration" is useless.

On my current install, I am not touching anything having to do with dynamic disks, and so far, so good.
