Help... Win2k is not letting to run anything more than a few seconds

I just installed win2k and whatever application i am running except Internet Explorer it will shut down in a matter or seconds or minutes and a dialog box says "... has generated errors and will be shut down. An error log is being created." Do you know how to fix that? Do do i have to reinstall win2k?
