02:50] <Drako> hi
[02:50] <Drako> I need little help
[02:50] <Drako> I am trying to establish ethernet between 2 pc's, BNC connection
[02:50] <Drako> on one mashine I have win2k, on the other 98se
[02:51] <Drako> there is ping reply between them, one has ip: 192.168.0.1 the other 192.168.0.2 both on subnet: 255.255.255.0
[02:51] <Drako> the win98 mashine can see the win2k mashine but not vice-versa
02:52] <McSkaf> Drako, on the win2k... use start/search... and search for the win98 machine
[02:53] <Drako> nope, I cant find it..
[02:53] <Drako> search computers right, tryed to search it, its name is "proletarac"
[02:55] <Drako> help greatly apperciated
[02:55] <McSkaf> sounds like you need to run netbios over tcp or netbeui
[02:55] <McSkaf> on both

[02:56] <Drako> on the other mashine (win98) when I write
netstat I get:
[02:56] <Eol> if they ping each other they are connected
[02:56] <Drako> Active con.
[02:56] <Drako> TCP proletarac:1025 foreign: ION:nbsession state: time_wat
[02:57] <Drako> if I write netstat under the win2k I dont get anything regarding the network
[02:58] <McSkaf> Drako, do you have a firewall on either machine
[02:59] <tcpee-ip> !seen DrMatrix
[03:02] <Drako> nope
[03:02] <Drako> dont have firewall
[03:02] <Drako> the computers are connected
[03:02] <Drako> just cant see each other, the win2k mashine cant see the 98
[03:03] <McSkaf> are they in the same workgroup?
[03:03] <Drako> yes
