Help ! Win2000 and RAS - no ping to pc-names in the lan ?

Hi Guys !

I try to log on to a NT4 Server from a Win2000 Client over ISDN and RAS. Logon and
authentification is ok, but the login-script isn't appearing. I can do a Ping on the IP-Adresses in the LAN, but a Ping on the Computer-Names almost fail (unknown host or timeout). So i put the IP's and the Names of the Servers in the lmhosts-File, but it won't work. Any Ideas ?

Client : Win2000 prof. SP1
Server : NT4 SP5

PS: sorry for my english, i live in Germany... Nice Forum !😕
