Help! Win XP shuts down at boot up. BSOD!

Installed new MB(Abit KR7A - Raid) and processor (XP-1800). Now XP shuts down with BSOD at boot up. Have Raid in place with dual boot with Win 98 and 98 works fine. I have XP on another HD on IDE 1 and it gives the same BSOD. It says to run chkdsk /f , tried it with a start up disk and it says to run scandisk. scandisk shows no problems. I am stumped. Help!
