Well, I got an averatec laptop with XP MCE. Not surprinsingly, it doesn't include restore CDs. However, unlike HP/Compaq where you can make your own, there is no option to make your own restore CDs with Averatec.
I want to make a clean install, and I thought "I will download the MCE trial and use the key (COA) that came with the machine" Well, there is no trial available for windows media center
So, short of getting a MCE CD, what can I do?
If my only option is to get a MCE CD or DVD, would anyone who bought MCE be kind enough to send a copy of the disc to me? I pay shipping costs plus tip
Thanks
Alex
