My Win Xp will not start. It gets to the progress bar, hdd led stops after about 5 seconds. The bar goes around, around, around... and nothing.

It's Win XP Pro SP2 with all the updates. No OC. I can boot to Safe Mode. HDD seems OK. I started to take out auto start services and progs. So far no luck. I have no restore point though. What could power outage do to my comp?

Any suggestion are appreciated.
Thanks...

I would first boot to the Windows XP cd, select the recovery console, and run chkdsk against the drive. Often times that is a problem preventing Windows from booting, and after running chkdsk the computer can boot up just like before.
