I have never seen this before. I have recently setup two computers to image several PC's. One is w2k the other xp pro. When I am logged in (locally) as myself I can see all other computers in the workgroup. When I log in as the user the workgroup is blank. I have no clue why.
Not logging into a domain.
On a Novell network.
TCP/IP is installed and working fine.
HELP
One thing I notice is under Network Places/Entire Network only Microsoft Windows Network and Netware Services show up. When I am logged in I also see Microsoft Terminal Services and Web Client Network.
Any clues?
<edit> I made the IP static and then back to dynamic and it somehow tricked it into seeing the computers in the workgroup. I still don;t know why Web Client Network and Microsoft Terminal Services don't show up in this other user account.
