So everything had been running fine and great no real problems...I install a new 120mm fan instead of the 80 in the side of the case and i got a new mouse...last night i find it has frozen and so i hit restart on the case....now it reboots and hangs at

Detecing Drives please wait screen, it does this for 2 to 5 minutes even then it will finally go past and go to windows vista. i never had any problems before...i tryed clearing the CMOS and now i cant overclock past 2.75 ghz...was at 3.0 stable...anything above it will just make the loud beeping sound and never boot..

i dont know why or what to do to fix it......could a new fan cause problems..the mouse is the same although i have it in teh ps2 slot now instead of the USB port?

Yes, there could be something wrong on the PS2 port of your motherboard... And what is your PSU? I doubt a fan could cause it to go over the edge, but...

well ill be dammed...i put the mouse on the usb and now it boots fine...i didnt think that would be the cause....i guess cause it didnt do it the first time i put it on there..

is it better to have the mouse on usb? it seemed to run smoother on the ps2 port...probly a bios update would fix it probly im guessing?
