I am running a Windows machine with an AMD chip, and old Diamond Viper video card. When I have a window open on top of another light colored window, if I drag that window around, it creates shadows from the window to the edge of the screen. Why???
I think it is my video card so what I need is a good quality 2D card that I can play games on every once in a while. Most important though is 2D quality because I write some code on my computer (and this problem is driving me crazy.) Could I really go wrong with a Kyro II, a Geforce II GTS, or a Radeon 32DDR? I don't really feel like spending more than $150.
