Well first off I would like to say win2k has some to do with it but not much, because my voodoo3 3000 I replaced got 3320 in 3dmark, so why in a geforce2 gts 32mb only getting 3600? Well I tried all the detonator, including the 7.xx and nothing helped. I then installed directx8 and it improved and the best match with directx8 was the 7.04 driver. I think i then hit 3750 with that. Why the hell am I scoring SO low??? Its a creative labs card, is it defective? ALso I know i have the old bios 2.15xxxx
If I flash it to the newer one, could that help??? where can I get that bios?

Make shore that u run 3d mark 2000 in 3D TL Hardware under options. Not P3 or solfware TL.I have been working with my freinds computer for the same problem. but he had a GF MX card and only scored 2247. he also has cel 600 at 945. your 3D Marks may not have the 3D TL Hardware sitting because i think that the patch for celerys suck for 3D MARKS. I have a P3 i don't have this problem we found out because my GF2 GTS is scoring 7168 with a 800 at 944. Good Luck!!

Are you overclocking your video card at all?
It seems low, but not really all that far off.
Your Celeron is probably what's holding your score back.

My brothers Duron 700 system, can't get over 3700 with an MX, even overclocking the video gave very little increse, Then we upped the CPU to 900, and 3dmark went right to almost 4000.

Go to :
Display Properties/settings/advanced/GeForce2GTS/additional properties/Direct3d settings

Make sure the first two options (Fog table emulation and Adjust Z-Buffer depth to rendering depth if unequal) are enabled. These don't really matter too much but best to have them checked.

Set Mipmap level to best performance.

Then Go to:

More Direct3d..

Make sure Vsync is off.

See if these help at all. Also do what Razzer stated. Perhaps clear out old drivers and current ones and install your drivers from scratch.

What are your game scores? If they are not low, then don't worry about it, because 3DMark is trash.

Make sure "In order Que Depth"(something to that effect) is set to 8 instead of 1 in your motherboard's bios. It's something I overlooked when overclocking my P3 on a BE6-II.
