Help: Which VIVO for recording Satellite ??

Hey everyone.... Couple of questions...

Currently have a T-Bird w/a Radeon DDR, no VIVO... I want to start recording some things off Satellite, transferring them to MPEG4, and burning to VCD...

I am upgrading in the next couple of months to a 1.4 w/all the bells, but am still unsure of what I should do for video... My current Radeon is sufficient for the amount of gaming I do, especially with the 1.4.. however, like most others on this forum, I LOVE to upgrade.... 😀

Question: Keep the Radeon DDR, get a PCI VIVO card ?? Would an old card like a rage pro with a tuner give me similar quality as the newer , faster cards ?? Scrap the Radeon, get the Radeon VIVO ?? Nvidia chips ?? Radeon 7500 / 8500 have an AIW ??

keep your radeon drr. get the pci vivo card or get the radeon ddr vivo.

aiw radeon 8500 will be very expensive.
