Help: Which All In One Printer - Scanner - Fax - Copier to buy?

I've been wanting to get one of these and wondered if anyone could help me out tell me where I can get a good price (with coupons if possible) and which ones they have had good experience with or heard good things about?

we have a few of the cheapies at work:

The HP G85
The Xerox 940
The Lexmark X83

The HP G85 is by far the best of those types. The others feel cheap when handling. I really like the quality too. The only issue is that it is on the slower side.

For a home user, speed usually isnt' a big deal because the work load for the printer will be minimal. Quality and price are far more important IMO.

True, quality and performance are what are most important to me. Do you know if you sacrifice either of those two because of the integration. I mean I know HP scanners and printers are pretty high end (if you buy those models) so in making them integrate and work toegether are they any less high end (if I buy a better all in one)? I think I don't want to spend more than $500.

The Xerox and Lexmark are both exptremely cheap, under $250, and it shows. They HATE being shared. If you want to network printers, stick with the HP.

I've got an HP Officejet K60 that works very well. NB, if you have a home network, this thing will not live up to its complete potential since it absotively posilutely wants to be directly connected to a pc...print servers just don't cut it. (It's fine as a printer, but if you want other stuff with pc interconnectivity you have to hook it up USB or parallel and install the overly helpful software.)

I found one on Pricewatch for around $200 incl s/h. Ink cartridges aren't cheap, tho.

I would avoid Lexmark due to the low quality of their printers, and I would also avoid Brother due to their lousy and odd driver support.
