Help! Where do the studs/cufflinks go?

It's my first time doing this stuff and I have no idea where the studs/cufflinks go/do. Anyone wanna help out a paley white n00b?

Don't they go in the button hole on the bottom of the sleeve of a dress shirt?

studs: go in button holes of shirt. hold shirt flaps like you would to button, push small side through both holes

cufflinks: shirtsleeves, hold both flaps back to back, rather than the way you would normally button, turn little hinged thingy to straight up and down, push through both holes, turn hinged thingy to hold in place.

Are the cufflinks supposed to show outside of the jacket or they are covered by the jacket?

depends on how well the jacket is tailored. I prefer the cuffs of the shirt to hang enough below the jacket sleeves to be seen, but that is because my cufflinks are kinda blingy.

try putting the jacket on, then pulling on your shirt cuffs until the sleeves aren't bunched up ander the jacket. This should put the cuffs in the right position and keep your shirt from getting wrinkled.

Traditional rules dictate 1/2 inch of shirt cuff to be showing, so work by that guideline. Of course to be honest most guys don't wear properly tailored jackets so it won't stand out too much if you don't have cuffs showing.

The studs go in the holes that will either be beside the buttons on your shirt or in place of them.

Depending on the shirt, the studs will either replace the top buttons (starting second from top, because the tie covers the topmost one) or they may have other small holes you put them in hiding the buttons.

The cufflinks replace the buttons on your cuffs... when you put them on, you make the cuffs flat, not rolling. The jewelled side will go towards the outside, while the clasp will go inside (or palm side)
