When I try to shut down my computer, it says it is now safe to turn off your computer. How do i make it shut down completely when I go to shutdown. Is there a jumper setting or a setting on the bios? If it matters, i have an ecs k7ama mboard with 256 mb of micron ddr ram, athlon tbird 1.4 ghz and gainward/cardexpert geforce 2 mx. I am also running win xp rtm evaluation

p.s. it worked in my old computer before i installed win xp

Sounds like an issue to post over in the "Operating Systems" forum or "Software". Not a motherboard issue and I'm not familiar with XP. Try reposting in Operating Systems.
