Unbelievable....Yes, I have a Pro2-A(6330) and the same thing happens to me. For the most part, Windows 98SE handles the IRQ sharing just fine....but it can't handle Using my Network card and Audio card at the same time. The computer just blocks one of them out(if it doesn't crash) and then I either lose sounds or network communication. For the most part, I have tried EVERYTHING. New ethernet card, new sound card, switching slots (ALL of them, all combinations) Disabling ACPI (Or what ever that power managment thing is in BIOS). When I disabled the ACPI, I was able to manipulate the IRQs in BOIS, but even after I got them on different IRQ's, it still locks up when both cards are in use. Hell, I have even tried on board sound and it still locks up the second the two are used at the same time.

In short, I have no idea how to fix it....but I would love to find a solution also.

Just lettimg you know your not alone.

Win98 and win2k neither will let you change things.. seems like i should be able to force them but what i ended up doing is making the irq bandit an ISA compatible.. so far nothings went back on that irq... but it's NOT correct and that ticks me off..

Had a funny problem on my 6ba+4. It started forcing irq's on each other. Happened after I told it to reset in the bios. I then had to load win 98 from scratch and add the boards one at a time with reboots between Natch. Not long after It happened again and I could correct it by flashing the bios and resetting to defaults. Just resetting to defaults wouldn't do it. I don't know why I just know it did. Oh first time hapened after I crash sisoft sandra trying to look at mb info. Crazy.
