Help...What should I wear for my friend's graduation?

hi, everyone. I'm heading down to UC Santa Barbara tomorrow morning to attend a friend's graduation ceremony. I don't know what to wear. Does it have to be semi-formal? Please give me suggestions.

Depends on if the facility is AC or not, and if not, how hot the weather will be. I wore a polo shirt with khakis to my sister's graduation just because it was farking hot. I would have worn a tie, but it was too hot

Khaki's, white shirt, tie, decent shoes. Polo would also work. No jeans. No athletic shoes.

Casual Public Schools: Nice Khakis, Button shirt, Pair of Tims

Private Schools: Dress pants, Dress shirt, Tie somewhat optional, pair of Armani

urm for UCLA grad i'm going nice skirt and shirt...

but it depends on the grad. is it a special grad or dept grad? some of the special grads are a lot more casual
