Help! Weird problem with vid card

OK, so I put my old GeForce 2 in an old Pentium 2, 160 megs of ram, 266 mhz to use as an entertainment cd. it replaced a voodoo 3 card. I wanted the tv out capabilities. the computer has a 200 W power supply but it's a pretty barebones system with an old sound blaster card, a 17 gig hard drive, and a cd rom.

well, i did a fresh install of windows 2000, and it went nice and smooth. i booted up, and installed the new 41.09 drivers for the geforce. after i installed them, the screen now flickers every once in while. I thought maybe my power supply didn't have enough juice but how much more power does a geforce 2 need over a voodoo 3? also, i didn't get any flickering til AFTER I installed the new drivers. the only things i have on this pc are service pack 3, winamp, and tight vnc to remotely log into it. i want this to be a pc jukebox and load it up with mp3s and maybe to play roms on my tv

any ideas what the flickering could be? power supply or driver problem?

I would have to guess drivers..did you try uninstalling the driver and just using the standard windows driver??

installed the standard nvidia driver off the windows 2000 cd and it still flickers. what is going on! right now i have no driver installed. so Device Manager just has it as a VGA controller. i dont really need a video card driver for this pc just to be an mp3 jukebox that I remotely connect to but I want to use the TV out 🙁

any ideas? why does the screen flicker when I install any kind of driver? thanks!
