Hey.
Yesterday I replaced my old PSU and GPU with new (used) ones from friend. (before that I didn't thouched the PC for few weeks, but it worked fine),
and also installed new HDD because my old one did some problems.
I had generic PSU for few years (I don't have anything blown on the motherboard) and I replaced it with Corsair CX430 that been used for less then a year.
On the first startup the BIOS speaker beeped and showed this error: "processor thermal trip".
I use i5 760 non overclock (2.79GHz with boost to 3.33GHz) with intel stock cooler, and never had heating problem.
I thoughtthe cooler might moved or something during the install of the new CPU and GPU so I removed the cooler,
reapllied thermal paste (MX4) and installed it - and started the PC.
Everything was fine so I went out, but when I got home back I saw it was overheating and turned off.
I left it again during the night with speedfan (logging cores temp and fan speed, automatic fan speed) while the pc was downloading and installing BF3 from steam.
When I woke up I discovered werid problem -
it worked about 3.5 hours (3:30-7:00), higest core temp was 57c (avg was about 44c) (cpu fan was on 1700rpm, about 85%),
and at the last hour/hour and half the 4 cores was on 30-32c, then the log stoped (the PC turned off because overheating).
also noticed Core #4 is hotter then others sometimes. (In avg +2C, can get up to 7C diffrence)
Bios reset to defaults.

3.5 Hour of Prime 95 Small FFT test -
CPU Cores 69-72C
Fan up to 100%
Suddenly PC shut down - "Processor thermal trip"

Another Prime95 Blend test -
22:37-~6:00
CPU Cores 69-72C
Fan up to 100%
Suddenly PC shut down - "Processor thermal trip"

Just noticed that HWMonitor says max CPU freq (during converting some video) was:
Core #1 3723MHz
Core #2 3720MHz
Core #3 5164MHz
Core #4 9309MHz

Of course this is False reading, so I guess the problem is at the CPU/Motherboard?
What can cause this? old PSU damaged something (CPU/MB) or did the new PSU causing this?
Or is this something with the MB gone wrong?
