Hello all.

Long story short, my Windows install got corrupted somehow and I just finally bit the bullet and bought a new 500 Gig HD to do a fresh install with plans on recovering the data from my original HD's once I got my rig up and running.

Only problem now is I can get Windows Media Center Edition to install! It hangs up on the "Installing Kernal Debugger" screen. Won't go any further. I am at a total loss as to why this is. Currently, all I have running during the install is are the basics: m/b, RAM, HD, DVD-ROM and video card.

Go my m/b be somehow caput? Originally, when my initial install went bad, I got an error message that "Windows32.ini" file was missing or corrupted and I could not start Windows. I tried in vain to repair the install. Or is there something else I'm overlooking or should be trying?

I really have no clue what's going on. I'm really close to buying a new m/b and really starting from scratch...such a waste though, since my rig's parts are/should still be very good!

Thanks for listening and for any thoughts or suggestions!
