Help w/Soundblaster Live, Value?

I just installed sb Value and updated the drivers. Every time I insert a cd into my cdrom and try to play it in Winamp and box pops ups with the title CDDB receiving host(something like that). Anyone know how to stop this I can't stand it!

you din't say if you pluged the cdin wire, just wondering.

Yes I plugged in the cd wire, I get sound after the CDDB resloves the host but if it doesn't resolve the host it won't play.

The CDDB message is coming fron WinAmp it has nothing to do with your SBLive. Just check the options for CD input.

winamp-options-plugins-input-nullsoft cd/linein plugin-configure-use cddb checkbox

then it wont do cddb lootup.
it has nothing to do with sb live

ermmm u can try going into Winamp Preferences and look under Plug-Ins then look under Input then look for Nullsoft CD/Linein plugin and then you untick use CDDB !! if all that dont work hehehe don't use winamp to play your cd's 😛
