help w/ setting up a simple Lan

Setting up a simple LAN shouldn't be having this much problems, done before - maybe I'm just overlooking something stupid!

Note my previous post w/ a more complex subnetting question - this assumes all the subnets and extra routers have been removed.

I went back to a simple lan configuration but still cant make my 3 pc share file (or see each other)

Have a DSL modem / router / fire wall acting as the DNS & DHCP servers, w/ a 10/100 swithch /hub attached. 2 XP & 1 W2k systems are attached to the switch.

the router can see all three systems, but each syste can't see the others. I've gone into windows and created a network connection w/ the same name - with no luck.

Anything suggests on how to start trouble shooting this problem?

thanks

I agree with dphnantom, the physical network is ok, the issue now is the software side of the computer network file sharing. Follow that above link to get your file sharing worked around.
