help w/ P4c800 Overclocking Info for a newbe

Hey Guys,
Next week I plan on ordering My asus p4c800 w/ a 2.6Ghz 800fsb processor. I am thinking of puting a Gig(2 512 sticks) of Kingston pc 3500 Hyper X ddr Ram into this. Will the motherboard accept this ram without any problems b/c it is Non Ecc ram, and this motherboard wanta ecc ram I guess. and Secondly, I want to overclock the 2.6 to atleast 3.06Ghz or 3.2 Ghz I will be puting this into a Thermaltake Xaser 3 that has 7 80 mm fans in it. And on the processor it self I am planning on Puting a ALPHA-PAL8942 w. a Sunon 50cfm 4-pin fan on it. Inbetween the Alpha and the processor im planning to put Arctic Silver III on it. Do you guys think i'll be okay in overclocking and Etc. w/ all the cooling this case and processor will have? and do you think The board will take my ram smoothly? also any ideas of what my temperature ranges will be with all this cooling i will have?

get the P4P800 Deluxe it'll save ur wallet and not sacrifice any speed unless ur dying to get the ECC function (ur not). it seems you aren't too worried about noise so i suggest ThermalTake spark series? Its good ur only considering 3.2ghz, u shouldn't have too much of a problem doing so. Ur expensive Xaser III will take care of cooling ur case definitely! and kingstons are a nice touch..

i was have both kingston 3500 and OCZ 3500 and the OCZ is faster! (hyperX and EL) i can feel free to use synchro timings and u'll be up in the 3ghz range in no time!

The heralded "MAM" feature on the P4P800 however, does not work when running memory asynchronous from FSB. Canterwoods are still a viable option as they will beat a Springdale in extreme overclocked conditions.

Your rite, MAM is only a bypass. I think i said synchronous timings because hes considering a 800mhz fsb. since bandwidth is equalled, there is no need for asynchro. The 865PE chipset also has a simpler and more efficient memory handling capabilities but im certain that a more mature BIOS for the 875P would surpass the springdale.

Would the P4p800 Take the pc 3500 ram tho, I am worrying about that... I hear its very flakey in taking some types of ram :-/, and will the p4c800 take the kingston hyperx pc3500?...I have enough in my budget for the p4c800 thats not the problem im just worrying about getting the ram and the motherboard wont take it

It takes kingston Memory, But I see nothing about pc3500, My cousin said it should take the Non Ecc Ram but im still uncertain I've seen reviews that it has taken hyper X ram, and it worked fine, Just wanted to see if someone had it in it.... do you personally think the P4c800 would take the ram, or you think the p4p800 would be a better choice of a motherboard?
