help w/ Gateway 6400 and WIN 2000 Server

I install Small Business server (Win 2k Server) and on reboot i get cant find NTLDR. anyone have any idea why? i have the standard scsi driver that came with the 6400. i used the gateway files to install scsi when installing w2k. is it cause i have 2 hd? is there somewhere where i have to designate one of the HD's as the Primary or Boot HD?? I'm not too good w/ scsi. only used IDE all my life.

thx for help

REALLY dumb quesiton, but are you sure there isn't a floppy in the drive??? 🙂 Otherwise, what kind of a configuration do you have for the SCSI disks? Are they in RAID or anything, or are they just running as two independent drives???

did you hit 'F6' during setup to install special controller drivers? may be necessary for your SCSI controller.

sml

ya i did that. it installed fine. it formatted hd and everything. only prob. when it finished installing and i rebooted it wouldn't boot cause it couldn't find the ntldr file unless i put the cd back in the cd rom.

anyway, i kept reinstalling and reformatting etc, clean installs. on the 3rd try it stopped doing that. don't ask me why. i have no idea what i did, but it seems to work now. 🙂
