Help w/ EPoX 8KTA2L and Monster MX300 sound card

PC133 Crucial 128mb
PC133 PNY 128mb
Diamond Stealth III 32mb
Diamond Monster MX300
Wester Dig. 20gb 7200rpm

Windows 2000 Professional

I'm having problems getting my MX300 sound card to work. I know there aren't any official drivers from Diamond for Win2k, but I was able to use to card with Win2k in my old Intel 440BX, P3 550mhz system.

The mobo has onboard sound, so I already tried disabling the Onchip sound in BIOS. I'm still not having any luck getting the MX300 to work.

Has anyone had any problems with using a pci sound card on a board with onboard sound?
Also, anyone else with this board, have any good/bad comments about it?🙁😱
 
There's some program somewhere, maybe www.h-oda.com; think it's called WCPUCREDIT or something similar to that. I've seen stuff that it can be used somehow to make Aureal cards work with VIA chipsets and Win2k. Sorry I can't provide more info.
