I've got a machine here running Server 2003. I have a AIW 7500 in there, and wanted to go dual monitor so I added a pci ATI Rage card I had lying around (from one of the many dell deals I've gotten in on)
Bios has AGP set as primary video.
Problem 1 : I get nothing on the second monitor. Windows automatically installed the drivers and everything is fine according to device manager. In the display properties I see 2 monitors, but they're both listed as being attached to the 7500 (which only has a dvi port and the video in/out ports, no second monitor ability except for a tv). There's no monitor listed as being attached to the Rage. How do I get it to recognize my other monitor?
Problem 2 : In playing around and trying to fix this, was looking in the ATI taskbar icon for some settings. I accidently clicked the "switch monitors" button and so now I get nothing on the screen. I can reboot in safe mode and it's normal, and I can log in via remote desktop and it's normal, but I can't use the computer directly at all! How do I undo this when I can't see the display? (and the ati icon is not available in the 2 ways above)
