help w/ dual monitors please...

I've got a machine here running Server 2003. I have a AIW 7500 in there, and wanted to go dual monitor so I added a pci ATI Rage card I had lying around (from one of the many dell deals I've gotten in on)

Bios has AGP set as primary video.

Problem 1 : I get nothing on the second monitor. Windows automatically installed the drivers and everything is fine according to device manager. In the display properties I see 2 monitors, but they're both listed as being attached to the 7500 (which only has a dvi port and the video in/out ports, no second monitor ability except for a tv). There's no monitor listed as being attached to the Rage. How do I get it to recognize my other monitor?

Problem 2 : In playing around and trying to fix this, was looking in the ATI taskbar icon for some settings. I accidently clicked the "switch monitors" button and so now I get nothing on the screen. I can reboot in safe mode and it's normal, and I can log in via remote desktop and it's normal, but I can't use the computer directly at all! How do I undo this when I can't see the display? (and the ati icon is not available in the 2 ways above)

Update:

I logged in via remote desktop and uninstalled everything ATI. A reboot and w2k3 found both video cards and installed default drivers. I then installed all the latest drivers for the 7500 (including the multimedia center and hydravision stuff). I've now got a working machine back, but still nothing on the second display. The display control panel shows 2 monitors, but both hooked to the 7500 (which is not accurate) and I can't get anything to show via the RageXL. HELP!

Ok, problem figured out... I actually RTFM (well, RTF web site) and found that all the rage series chips won't work as secondary adaptors under Win 2000, XP, Server 2003. Guess I need to hit the FS/FT forum and see what I can get cheap 🙂
