I am running W2k and put in a H+ card and then tried to follow the instructions. To no avail w2k would recognize my hardware but did not find any drivers on the disk that came w/ the card. So, I went to Sigma's site and downloaded the latest drivers. (2.0). I then downloaded PKZIP to open the file, and yet w2k still did not recognize my drivers no matter how I tried to install them.

I'm new to unzipping, but still my drivers should be recognized either on the cd that came w/ it or the ones I downloaded. Am I doing something wrong or could someone please help me w/ this situation. I've been trying to get this installed for three days. Called tech support but no one ever wants to call back. Thanks alot.

There are two Zip files to download from the RealMagic website.

The first is the Driver Disk (disk1) and then the Application Disk (disk2)
Download both, and pick a folder on your hard drive to unzip them to.

I recommend WinZip if you are new to Zip files, and/or DOS commands. WinZip is very simple to use.

Once you have both those "disks" (zip files) loaded into a folder lets call it X:\HPLUS, reboot and when you get the new hardware found box, say you want to search for the best driver, but uncheck Floppy, CD and MS Update, check Other and put the path to the folder that you unzipped the disk into (X:\HPLUS). Then hit next, the Search should find the drivers in that folder and install them.

After that (you might need to reboot) got back to that folder (X:\HPLUS) and run Setup.exe. (Setup.exe came from disk2) to install the DVD Station player software.

You must install the drivers first and then run the setup for the software or else it won't work right.

Thanks alot Noriaki

You always seem to be there when I'm stuck...Thanks! Everything went alright once set up, but when I play a movie on my monitor, it looks like I'm watching it fresh off a film projector. It has a little haze and flicker. When you're about 4 foot away it looks fine, but unfortunately I never sit 4 foot away from my monitor. Any suggestions?? I'm afraid to put it on my t.v. because I think the flicker would just be on a larger scale.

I think there must be something else to do, because as of now, PowerDVD looks far superior than this hardware. The software didnt flicker, but it looked like color moved in blocks. Oh well, any suggestions appreciated.
