Just had to reinstall winXP pro. I installed the audigy drivers throuhg device manager using my Creative disc. Everything went smoothly. However, Icannot get any sound out of my rear speakers (logitech 560's). Is there any settings through XP I need to change? or do I HAVE to install the whole creative mixer, etc.?
I wen to the advanced tab of Control Panel Sound Speech, etc. and set the settings to a couple of different settings and nothing produced sound from the rear speakers.

ANy ideas?

Probably because you don't have the surround mixer installed. When running the setup off the creative CD, you can choose not to install all the extra stuff. The only thing I install is the driver set and surround mixer. Give that a shot and see what happens.

Go to control panel and open Sounds and audio devices.
Look for speaker settings and click on the advance button.
Look at the speaker setup menu tab, then choose one of the speaker setups.
For my Klipsch Promedia 4.1 I choose Quadraphonic.
Good Luck..........

Go to AudioHQ(in Creative `s software)then speaker icon and select 4 or 5.1 speakers, you can also do a test there.

Finally got around to installing the AudioHQ, etc. I have it set to 4 speakers but I do not get sound from my rears?
ANyone have a clue what could be happening? All was working fine but I had to reinstall XP and now no rear speakers.
