I've been working on a LCD projector similar to the one on Tom's hardware, and was going to use a standard ATX power supply to run the fans.
However, I cut all the wires coming out of it except one molex connector and bridged the green and black ones for instant startup, and just taped the end of all the rest. Now it won't start up. When I bridge the green and black ones and the PSU has power coming to it, the PSU fan moves a fraction of a centimeter, then stops.
Was there anything in the ATX mobo connector that needed to stay connected? LMK if you all have any ideas. Thanks!
