i mistakenly purchased a matrox g200 from geeksand i didnt notice it was for a flat panel monitor. is there any adapter that anyone knows about to turn the output into the standard SVGA, or am i just screwed? thanks in advance.

Just send it back. You made a simple mistake and shouldn't have to pay for it. But, this time, stay away from the G200/G400 series if you want fast 3D graphics and go with a TNT2 Ultra or a Voodoo3-3000 if your finances are limited.
