Help - Video Capture codec related problem - no sound

I have a Happauge WinTV card , that i am trying to use to capture video using Virtual Dub . The video seems to be fine , i am using a DivX codec . However, for some reason i just cannot see any codecs for audio when i go in compression menu. I htried some that were available but none of them work. Thus, i can capture video fine but no sound :disgust: . I also tried installing various codecs again but nothing works. I have no clue what is going on . 😕
 
This may be a dumb answer, but on my card, Visiontek XTasy Everything, it doesn't do the audio. You actually have to run a cable from it to the input on your sound card. Might wanna double check the hardware setup.
