CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q9450 @ 2.67GHz
Graphics: ASUS EAH4850 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16814121253)
OS: Vista 64
PSU: 500w (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16811129024)
Today, I got this warning randomly, and I don't know what to do. It's a continuous warning that keeps popping up.
"VGA's voltage is out of safe bound. Motherboard doesn't supply reliable 12.0 voltage. Contact with its manufacturer for help."
This is from the ASUS SmartDoctor software that was included with my video card (it controls fan speeds/clock speeds)
I put together my computer in July (my first time), and it's been working fine since. I'm sort of a noob, so I have no clue what the warning means. In the past, I've used this HyperDrive option (through ASUS SmartDoctor) that "intelligently" adjusts my video card's clock speed. I don't know if that has anything to do with it; I don't use it too often.
I haven't touched the bios or changed any settings recently. I don't have anything overclocked (with the exception of the "HyperDrive" that I use sometimes), and I'm not powering 3813498 hard drives or anything like that.
Anyone have any ideas on what caused this and how to fix it? My first guess was that it's an error with the sensor, but I have no clue...
